teacher's appreciation 2013

lucky me, both kids' schools celebrated teachers appreciation the week after mother's day (yay).

i gave 3 little presents- using an apple theme.

hand soap (apple scented) which is my go-to because i've done it before!

next were red and black sharpies wrapped in this little tag (click here for your copy)

the last gift is personalized stationary (available here)

wrapped in a little gift box.

tags for the box are here, and can be used for end of the year gifts as well!

hoping all the teachers we have are feeling the love :)

Sillie's Rainbow 6th Birthday Party!

kept the decorations super simple (simple-looking- because really, what's simple about climbing a ladder a hundred times?!)

being a sister

there have been so many national siblings day posts/pics on facebook - and i can't help but feel a little envious of my friends, whose siblings respond to those posts.

funny- i SO wish i could give Sillie a sister. but growing up, i never wanted one.

i was always content with having one older brother. we fought so much growing up, but i always looked up to him. i talked about him endlessly.

there's not a day that goes by...i still think about him.
i miss being a younger sister.

rainbow party prep

the prep is coming along....super slowly!!

i decided to keep the decorations very simple, so that it doesn't look so busy
:: the first half ::

the best part? when Sillie wakes up in the morning and has the happiest look on her face and tells me that she loves it!
